Samantha Neu is an interdisciplinary artist and educator based in St. Louis, Missouri. She earned her MFA in Visual Art from Washington University in St. Louis and a BFA in Studio Art from Texas State University, with a concentration in Drawing. Originally from Austin, TX, she was a member of the artist-run space MASS Gallery, where she curated exhibitions such as [un]promised potential and Buoyant. Neu’s work explores the uncanny, using distorted and abstracted forms in sculpture, text, and painting to challenge perceptions of the body and invite viewers to navigate the unknown.
